Recital day
What a recital is like
Students play one piece
Each student chooses a piece with their teacher and plays it once, in front of friends and family.
The hall is set with chairs
Chairs face the piano in the hall at Plainview, and the room at Hale Center is set the same way.
Dress as you like
Many students dress up a little. Nobody is expected to.
Cake and a photo corner
Afterward families gather in the hall. We ask your permission before any photo is shared.
